Tim Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Childersburg City Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mr. Matson died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Bill Nichols Veteran Home in Alexander City, AL. He was preceded in death by his wives; Betty Jean Matson and Nancy Lou Matson, son, James Milton Matson and daughter, Tammy Jean Matson. Mr. Matson served in the Korean War with the United States Air Force He is survived by step-daughters, Charlene Phillips husband Chris of Childersburg, AL and Nancy Lynn Warland husband Tom of Michigan, step-son, Charles Miller of Colorado, 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.
