Gary E. Mead

Gary is survived by his wife, Judy Bearden; his son Kevin Mead (Candy); and his daughter Jennifer Mead Melton (Mike); his grandchildren Alyssa Mead Polk (Bobby), Christopher Melton, Tyler Mead, Hunter Melton, Tyler Huffstutler, and Josh Huffstutler, his 9 Great Grandchildren and his niece Betty Ann Mead.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother Betty Evans; his brother Jan Mead.

A visitation for Gary will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will occur Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115, where Gary will be laid to rest.

Serving as pallbearers are Jamie Milam, Joe Taylor, Kenny Williamson, Christopher Melton, Hunter Melton, and Mike Melton. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Doyle Harris.
