George Raymond King

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for George Raymond King, 90, will be Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. Charles Moore and Joan Black officiating. Burial will be in Newsite Baptist Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. King died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Mae King, brother, Edward Lawerence King, sister, Ruth Elizabeth Levvorn, and great-grandchild, Baby Anna Sue Roberts. Mr. King was a Deacon at Village Street Baptist Church and was a member at 1st Baptist Church of Weogufka. He also volunteered at Weogufka Senior Center.

He is survived by his son, Van Raymond (Rena) King; daughter, Sue King (Ronald) Hobbs; four grandchildren, Zachery King, Rhonda (Chris) Roberts, Carrie (Jeff) Roberts, Holley (Adam) Roberts; eight great-grandchildren, Zachery Taylor King, Bently Alexander King, Jessica Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Alex Roberts, Addison Roberts, Avery Roberts; sister-n-law, Faye Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews;

Visitation will be Friday December 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Adam Roberts, Jeff Roberts and Alex Roberts.
