Graveside service for George William Reed, age 63, of Talladega will be Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10 AM at Evergreen Cemetery with the Reverend Frank Thompson officiating. He was a graduate of Sylacauga High School and worked as a gate Keeper and Guard at Pursell Industries. He enjoyed auto mechanics, gardening and working with his Kabota tractor and really loved his
grandchildren and family. The family would like to thank Dr. Aldaher and SouthernCare hospice. He is survived by his Wife: Debbie L. Reed of Sylacauga, 2 Sons: Michael Reed and wife Lori of Sylacauga, Mark Reed and wife Amy of Sylacauga, Daughter: Missy McCartney and husband Gavin of Sylacauga, 2 Brothers: Billy Reed of Hollins, Kenneth Reed of Sylacauga, 2 Sisters: Judy Owens of Hollins, Debbie Smith of Ashland and 8 Grandchildren: Selena, Micah, Maddie Reed; Matt, Luke Abby Reed; Reed and Savannah McCartney. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
