Graveside service for Gerald Wayne Moore, age 59, of Sylacauga will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2PM at Childersburg Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Mr. Moore passed away on August 9, 2017 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He worked for the City of Childersburg as a mechanic for many years and was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his cousins: Martha Burchell, Phyllis Caudle, Rebecca Caudle, Mona Mitchell, Connie Garlin, Daryl Moore, Cheryl Chisholm, Tim Moore, Beverly Harless, Sherry Crowder, Sheila Estes, Stacy Landry, David Meyers, Gary Houston, Wendall Houston, David Houston, Jr. Houston, Bobby Houston, James Houston, Virginia Walker, Chuck Evans, Cary Evans, Kathy Herndon and Kay Karrh.
