Funeral service for Gertrude D. Holdridge, age 90, of Sylacauga will be Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Reverend Donald Grice and Reverend Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Holdridge passed away on September 4, 2011 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab.She was preceded in death by husband: James Floyd Holdridge, parents: James and Emma Deason, sons: John Owens and Norman Owens, grandsons: Timothy Allen Ward and Randall Walters and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church, was a native of Sylacauga and loved to plant flowers. Special thanks to staff of Sylacauga Health and Rehab. She is survived by her Daughters: Marie Johnson (Ronny) of Sylacauga, Sue Duck (Tommy) of Dadeville, Betty Walters of Sylacauga,
12 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
