
Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Glenda Logan Hill, 65, will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. Larry Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Mausoleum in Sylacauga, AL.
Mrs. Hill died Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Huel Logan. Glenda was a member of First Baptist Church were she served in the nursery department at time of illness. She dearly loved every child she worked with. She was born in 1951 in Sylacauga and finished high school at Sylacauga High and received her BA from Judson College.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Chatham Logan of Sylacauga; sister, Victoria Walters and husband Kyle of Hoover; brother, Danny Logan and wife Janet of Wilsonville; two nieces, Amanda Haralson and husband Clay of Auburn, Emily Maloof and husband Adam of Chelsea; great nephew Warren Haralson and great niece, Emma Clare Maloof.
Visitation will be Saturday December 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Sylacauga.
Pallbearers will be Ollie Heath, Adam Maloof, Clay Haralson, Donald Morris, Greg Baker and Kyle Walters. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill James.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Swearingen and the nurses of the ICU for their loving and compassionate care of Glenda during her illness.
