Homer Maurice HaynesSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Homer Maurice Haynes, 73, will be Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery in Alpine, AL.Mr. Haynes died Monday, November 29, 2010.  He was retired from Sylacauga Tank Co. after some 34 years of service.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a great fan of Alabama football.He is survived by his wife, Jean Haynes of Sylacauga, son, Jimmy Barber, wife Wanda of Roanoke daughter, Brenda Wyers, husband Tommy of Childersburg, daughter, Val Young, husband David of Milton, FL, daughter, Wanda Miller, husband John of Goodwater and son, Homer Haynes, wife Melissa of Sylacauga, sister, Reba Adams of Wadley, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday November 30, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Adam Farr, Nathan Adams, Sammy Robinson, Rex Robinson, Jay Stephens and Eugene Stephens.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the service.
