James H. Strickland

James is survived by his wife, Gwindell Strickland; his daughter: Felicia Masters (Eddie); his sister JoAnne LaTaste; his grandchild Michelle Janis (Tari), J.T. Watts (Alyssa), Cody Strickland (Taylor), Johnny Warren (Kathy), Donnie Warren, Andrea Strickland, Katy Shepherd (Tyler), Tammi Stiles (Michael), Rebeka McMahon, his 18 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

James was preceded in death by his son James Greg Strickland; his father Walter Strickland and his mother Margie Strickland; and his brother Pete Strickland.

A visitation for James will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:15 PM at Grassmere Cemetery where James will be laid to rest. All services will be officiated by Pastor Joel Maxwell.

Serving as pallbearers are Tommy Burton, Roger Justice, B.J. Riley, Kyle Horn, Terry LaTaste and Joey Strickland.
