James Nicholas WansleySylacauga, AL - Funeral service for James Nicholas Wansley, 29, will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Mark Ledbetter and Pastor Patrick McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will be in The National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.Mr. Wansley died Thursday, February 18, 2016 and was preceded in death by his dad, George Donald (Don) Wansley and his grandparents.Mr. Wansley is a Marine Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.  He worked as a Corrections Officer for Talladega County Sheriff's Office.  He will be remembered for being a loving father and good friend to all.  He was highly respected in the community and compassionate to all; always willing to lend a hand to anyone.He is survived by wife, Leah Marie Burchman Wansley of Sylacauga, his daughter, Jersey Nicole Wansley, his mother, Juana Ann Morgan Wansley of Tuscaloosa, his sisters, Shannon Marie VanHoven  husband Seth and Breianna Nicole Johnson of MI, his brother, William Andrew Wansley of Tuscaloosa, a niece, Scout VanHoven and a nephew, Cadin VanHoven.
