Jeffrey Barnett Floyd

Jeffrey Barnett Floyd left this world for his eternal heavenly home on March 22nd 2023. He was born on April 27th 1959 to Fran Atkinson and the late Harold Floyd. Jeff lived a full and happy life and was married to and survived by his former spouse Rhonda Floyd for 34 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children; Matt (Carmen) Floyd; Macey (Steven) Dunn, and Keith Floyd (Margaret Ham). Jeff's precious grandchildren were his greatest joy and he soaked up every moment he could spend with Ayden, Tucker, Kye and Ellie Barnett, named after her granddad. Jeff also leaves behind his Aunt Sheila (Cassie) Burton and his beloved fur-baby, Pup Pup.

Jeff was a loving and devoted family man; there was nothing he wouldn't do for his children and grandchildren. Jeff was dedicated to trucking, he worked over 35 years in his family trucking company Floyd & Beasley Transfer Company of Sycamore, AL.

While their hearts are shattered, Jeff's family will cherish the beautiful memories they have and will lovingly remember him as a God fearing leader of their family. Jeff prayed fervently for others and shared daily devotionals in the hopes it would reach someone in need.

Jeff was reunited in Heaven with his father Harold Floyd; his grandparents, Cecil and Gertrude B. Floyd; grandmother Margaret McBride; brothers Charles Harold Floyd Jr., John Keith Floyd and Timothy Paul Floyd.

A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tim Lowery, Daniel Rudd, Derek Landry, Frank Ellis, Steve Persons and Ed Collier. Honorary Pallbearer is Dallas Davenport.
