Jewel Ivey Lackey

Sylacauga, AL - On December 29, 2014, God gifted us with a beautiful baby girl.  On July 24, 2016 she was called home by our Lord and Savior.  Jewel was a wonderful child, full of personality, extremely friendly and never met a stranger.  She was her mother's shadow.  She loved to help in the kitchen and with daily chores like taking care of the animals, especially feeding the chickens.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed aggravating her older brothers.  She is loved deeply and will be missed beyond comprehension. 

Funeral service for Jewel Ivey Lackey, 1, will be Thursday July 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. John Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Clay County, AL.

She is survived by her loving mother, Tara Ray; father, Lynn Lackey; brothers Colby Morgan and Kendall Edwards; sister Crystal Lackey; Tara's boyfriend Josh Barrand; grandparents, Keith Ray, Kim Orr and Dorothy (Blue) and Ken Shirley; niece, Taylin Lackey; Aunts, Krista Davis, Kerri Lawson and Aimee Pike; uncle Glenn Lackey & their families along with a host of cousins and numerous other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Uncles John Lackey and Brian Ray.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Murphy, Conner Kite, Devin Edwards and Lucas Bowden.
