John Willie Faulkner

Sylacauga, AL. - John W. Faulkner, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

John is survived by his daughter, Judy Faulkner Stocks; son, John Keith Faulkner; sister, Edna Gallman; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

John was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mary Lou Faulkner; parents, Arthur & Naomi Faulkner; 4 brothers, Raymond Faulkner, Leon Faulkner, Gene Faulkner, Danny Faulkner; and 6 sisters, Alice Moore, Lois Varner, Lela May Hughes, Ruby McPherson, Faye Price and Jeanette Carpenter.

Mr. Faulkner was a member of the Sylacauga First Assembly of God and served with Coosa Valley Rescue Squad for 25 plus years.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. John will lie in state from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and a funeral service will occur Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sylacauga First Assembly of God, 560 Gantts Junction Rd, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150 with Rev. Brian Jones and Rev. Joe Camp officiating.

John will be laid to rest in Weogufka 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery, 5932 Coosa County Rd 56, Weogufka, AL.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Turney, Larry DeLee, Henry Machen, Richard Kirkland, Dalton Baird and Byron King.
