Mr. John Walter Hayes, Jr age 73 of Verbena, Al passed away on September 3, 2014 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral Arrangements will be held on September 6, 2014 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 11AM. Rev. Anthony Christenson will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held on September 5, 2014 from 5-8PM at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Survivors are Spouse; Juawana Hayes. Sons; Danny Wayne (Debbie) Hayes; Walter Lane (Felicia) Hayes. Daughter; Tracey (John) H. Duffee. Grandchildren; Cody Duffee, Caleb Duffee;Dawson Lane Hayes, Danielle Lynn Hayes. Brother; Earl H. (Audrey) Hayes. He was a proud U.S Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. Pallbearers will be Marty Barnett; Thomas Barnett; J.C. Bullard; Darron Hayes;Les Harrison and Charlie Brown. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
