John William Horton

Funeral service for John W. Horton, age 65, of Sylacauga will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 3PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Reverend Brandon Baird officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his Wife of almost 46 years: Faye Horton; Daughter: Ginger Michelle Yoder and husband Del; His loving grandchildren Lauren Michelle Browning, Austin Levin Browning and Lucus William Browning who he loved and was so proud of them all, Beloved sister: Lavon Higginbotham and her sweet family. He was truely a loving and caring man and showed it everyday of his life. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and also the guys he worked with for 44 years at Dixie Color and American Color and cared for them all. To know him was also to love and respect him. There was no better man, husband, daddy, or pawpaw that was sent to this earth than him. We all will love and miss him terribly but he is happy and pain free with Jesus and his beloved Kelley. John was preceded in death by his parents: Paul S. and Catherine B. Horton; special brother-in-law: Edward Higginbotham and our special angel Kelley Faye Horton. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
