Portland, OR. - Justin Matthew Hebson, age 36, son of Tracy Hall Roberson (Keith) Salisbury, NC, and Joseph F. Hebson, Sr., Sylacauga, AL, gained his angel wings on January 20, 2025, in Portland, OR.
Mr. Hebson, born April 15, 1988, was a native of Sylacauga, AL, with North Carolina and Kentucky roots. He was a free-spirited gifted artist, excelling in music, body ink, and drawing design. Mr. Hebson attended East Rowan H.S. in Rockwell, NC. He obtained his diploma in 2005 at Stanley Community College in Albemarle, N.C. Justin continued his pursuit of digital, creative art education at ITT Technical Institute in Lexington, KY, where he studied Graphic Design. Mr. Hebson mastered photo restoration and several musical instruments, most particularly the banjo. He enjoyed traveling to novel places and was able to travel extensively prior to his death.
In addition to his loving parents, Mr. Hebson is survived by daughters, Brooklyn Hebson and Evelynn Adams, KY; brothers, Joseph F. Hebson, Jr. (Amiya) Sylacauga, AL; Michael Roberson, Biloxi, MS; Levi Roberson (Jordan) Salisbury, NC; sister, Hannah Gullotta (Casey), MS; aunts, Deborah Hall, Anna H. Tyler (Patrick) Stephanie Williams and Angel Phillips, uncles, Mike Hall, Sylacauga, AL; Bobby Hebson (Lenore), Wetumpka, AL, Jeffrey May (Wendy), Venice, FLA; nephew, Harrison Gullotta, nieces, Miller Gullotta and Raylynn Roberson; special cousins, Lee Hall (Jeslynn), Asher Hall, Alicia Hall Gill (Shane), Lauren Tyler Breland (Michael) Mobile, AL, Luke Tyler, Kristen Phillips, Kalub Wood, of Sylacauga, AL, Zachary Niles, Tuscaloosa, AL; Shannah Gill, Lexi Schmitz (Dylan), Scarlett Cook and a host of beloved family and friends across Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas and beyond.
Mr. Hebson was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bobby Hall, Sr. (Judy), paternal grandparents, Robert W. Hebson and Margie Daniels Hebson; aunt, Tammy N. Hall; uncle, Bobby Hall, Jr., of Sylacauga, AL, and cousins, Blake Lewis Tuggle and Grayson Parker May of Lancaster, KY.
In Celebration of Justin's Life, visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, Alabama, on February 21, 2025. Visitation hours begin at 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with service directly following at 4:00 p.m.
