Kevin Wood

Graveside funeral services will be held for Mr. Kevin Wood (Sparky), age 62, on Friday February 17, 2023 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Sylacauga ,Alabama at 11:00 am with a visitation at 10:00 am prior to the service at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Chaplain Mike Britton will be officiating.

Mr. Wood passed away Monday February 13, 2023 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab after a long illness. He was a lifetime resident of Sylacauga. He worked for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama with 15 years of service before his retirement.  Mr. Wood loved hunting and had been a member of the Diamond Mountain Hunting Club for several years. He had many longtime friends with whom he shared lots of good times and memories. His family is thankful for the many ways they helped him during his illness.

He is survived by his brother, Alan Wood, of Sylacauga, sisters Judy Smith (Gary) of Trussville and Sandy Stevens (Bill) of Hollins, plus a niece and several nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Eva Wood.

The family is extremely grateful for the compassionate care provided by Sylacauga Health and Rehab and Affinity Hospice.
