Lou  Neil was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was kind to everyone whether they deserved it or not. 
She had a  positive impact on so many students at Comer school. Those warm hugs she so freely gave were the probably theonly hugs many of the students received. She loved all the students, but those that never got hugs, acts of kindness, or words of encouragement at home had a special place in her heart. 
I will always remember her smile. She wore it every day.  It was genuine -just like Lou Neil.  I am so thankful that it was in God's plan for our paths to cross. I am also thankful that she generously shared her equally sweet and kind sister, Kat, with me.
John, Amy, grands, and great grands,  Lou Neil was one of God's best. I am sure she still has on that smile.

Dear Amy,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of your sweet mother's passing. She was a good woman with a kind spirit. I enjoyed working with her for so many years at B.B. Comer. She was an asset to the teachers, myself included. I know that her passing leaves a void in numerous lives, but especially in yours and your family's lives. I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time and the times ahead. Know that your mother was truly loved and will be missed tremendously.

We have only known LouNeil and John for a few short years. She and I had an instant connection. Among other things, we both worked with Access Distance Learning. She was my church buddy, my cooking buddy, and most importantly, my prayer warrior. I loved her dearly and will miss her. Thank you LouNeil for your friendship and your prayers. Oh, how she loved her husband and her family. Her smile and her kind words spoke volumes. A Godly woman to be sure. I will think of her often, and I know I will see her again. My precious sweet sister . I will forever hold you in my heart. You have always been my rock. I only wish I could have been with you when you stepped over into the promised land but l know your lifelong faith  carried you and God was holding your hand and Garivon and Amy by your bedside. Lou Neil was one of the sweetest ladies I  have ever known. She was beautiful inside and out. We worked together several years at B.B  Comer and my life was blessed  by knowing her. She touched so many children's lives with her warm smile and loving arms that we re always ready to give a hug if needed. When she asked how you were doing, she really wanted to know because she cared. She was a perfect example of what a christian should be. She was loved by so many. Her sister, Kat, is my best friend. No one could want a better friend than these two sisters! To all the family I want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven got a special lady ! I met Lou Neil Hardin as a new teacher at B.B. Comer School. She and her sister, Kathleen, always had smiles and hugs, and help whenever I needed it.  They grew  up across the road and down the hill from me, and when my husband died, their brother Floyd and his son, Lou Neal's John, Kathleen's M.C., and brother Fred and his son, Daniel came to my house in weather emergencies when there were storms or well problems. Working with Fred's Donna for many years at Pinecrest blessed my life in many ways and led to a lifelong friendship. That is the kind of  people they are. Lou Neil loved easily, and Amy, your family was so special to her. I will miss just knowing that she is there, but I am filled with gratitude to God for putting me in your paths. John, Amy, Kathleen and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Lou Neil was a mentor and friend to me for over 30 years.  She was such a kind and thoughtful person and she had a servants heart and she showed it in all she did. You could always count on her to bring lots of good food to our Roses meetings and most of all to lift prayers for us all. Praying for God to give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I worked with LouNeil at Comer H.S.  and she always had a smile and a hug to share.  I know she’s right at home with her Christian family.

I was blessed to work with Lou Neil at B. B. Comer Memorial High School. She was dedicated to her students and had a wonderful work ethic. Lou Neil always had a smile on her face. She always had a kind word to share to brighten the day of her co-workers. She was loved and admired by many and will be greatly missed. Heaven has a gained another angel!
