Mary Alice Williams Hammonds

Alexander City, AL - Graveside service for Mary Alice Williams Hammonds, 96, will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. James Long officiating.

Mrs. Hammonds died Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Adams Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her partner, Homer House, 8 siblings and parents, Albert & Bessie Williams.

She is survived by her three children, Doyle Hammonds, Delores (Allen) Oliver, Susan (Michael) Mead; seven grandchildren, Mark Hammonds, Matthew Hammonds, Jamie Isabell, Leslie Manuel, Brandy Brasher, Allie Jordan, Mallory Mead; eight great-grandchildren, Annie Jordan, Mead Jordan, Tori Woods, Gabe Oliver, Sydney Chapman, Donovan Embry, Daphne Embry, Colin Brasher; sister, Pauline Talley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Jordan, Drew Manuel, Gabe Oliver, Colin Brasher, Jay Embry, Mark Hammonds, Matthew Hammonds and Michael Brasher.
