
Sylacauga AL- Mary Louise Kauffold Jennings left her earthly home to receive her Heavenly reward on Sunday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 62 in her home in Stewartville, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Evelyn Kauffold (IL) and brothers Larry Kauffold, Gary Kauffold, and James Kauffold. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Johnny Ray Jennings; son, Eric Sean Jennings and wife Kristy; daughter, Elizabeth Shannon Howard; grandsons, Ashton Brandt Howard, Evan Drake Jennings and Joshua Connor Jennings; mother-in-law, Jean Jennings; sisters, Patricia Meredith, Barbara Shannon, Nancy Kauffold, and Martha Mooney; brothers, George Kauffold, Johnny Kauffold, Ricky Kauffold, and Michael Kauffold; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly.Mary was born in Alton, IL, graduated from Alton High School, and moved to Sylacauga in 1971. Mary held several jobs over the years, but most remember her from the 18 years of employment at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center in Sylacauga. Mary most recently worked for Southern Care Hospice until it became necessary for her to remain home due to her illness.Mary was a member of Weogufka Family Worship Center and greatly loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a fun, amusing, kind-hearted, compassionate, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Mary was a great friend with a heart full of love to all who knew her.A Celebration of Life will be held for Mary at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Weogufka Family Worship Center with Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. There will be a luncheon for family at 1:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Mary requested donations be made in her memory to Oxford Outreach, 4636 Eulaton Rd., Anniston, AL 36201.“Therefore we do not lose heart.
