Jewel WoodfinWeogufka, AL - Graveside service for Jewel Woodfin, 79, will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Rockford, AL with Rev. Hugh Kelso officiating. Mrs. Woodfin died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Woodfin; husband, Charles Everett; brother, Jimmie Helm.  She was known as Ms. Jewel and she had a great love for life, laughter and children.She is survived by her son, Mike Woodfin, wife Mary of Villa Rica, GA; daughter, Cathy Woodfin Corbin, husband Klay of Dothan, AL; grandsons, Charles (Buddy) Everett, wife Paige, Cody Corbin, Shane Corbin and Nick Corbin; granddaughter, Mary Alison Boggs, husband Andy; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eunice Culver, Jane Ezekiel and Joann Ogle, husband Harold;  brothers, Henry Helm, Richard Helm, wife Faye and Randy Helm, wife Donna;  sister-in-law, Erla Neely, husband Ives and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Suite 201, Birmingham, AL  35205 in her memory.Honorary pallbearers will be Charles (Buddy) Everett, Cody Corbin, Shane Corbin and Nick Corbin.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
