Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Mattie Brown Hay, 100, will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Hay died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Whit and Martha Brown, son, James Rickey Hay, sister, Daisy Brown, brother, Elsey Brown, brother, Edkar Brown, brother, Audie Brown, brother, Barney Brown, brother, Grady Brown, brother, Phillip Brown, brother, Arnold Brown, brother, Samuel Brown, and brother, Clydia Brown. She was a longtime member of Overbrook Assembly of God in Sylacauga and retired from Avondale Mills. She work 15 years at Plaza Theater and Comet Drive Inn.

She is survived by son, Charles Edward Hay of Valley, AL.; daughter, Barbara Ann (Jack) Bachman of Clanton, AL; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 8 great - great grandchildren with 1 on the way.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
