Funeral service for Mr. Ottis Eldridge Jennings, 83, will be 2:00 p.m Friday, September 28, 2012 at Odena Baptist Church. Dr. Danny Courson and the Rev. Chuck Kornegay will officiate and burial will be in Odena Cemetery. He passed away September 24, 2012 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Faye Morris Jennings; parents, Delila and Fletcher Jennings; Brothers, Melvin Jennings, F.W. Jennings, Jack Jennings, Douglas Jennings; Daughter, Michelle Jennings Walker; Son-in-Law, John Walker; Grandson, Henry Joseph Roddam. He is survived by his Daughter, Lesia Thompson Roddam (Henry) of Sylacauga; Son, Phillip Troy Jennings of Sylacauga; Sisters, Edna Faye Cook and Omega Landreth; Grandchildren, Melinda Thompson Jones (Christopher), Matthew Alan Thompson (Stefani), Caleb Walker (Katilyn), Michael Jennings (Kim), Christa Jennings, and Victoria Roddam; Great-Grandchildren, Savannah Jones, Jennah Jones, Jett Jones, Isabella Walker, Logan Jennings, Katelyn Bailey, Austin Bailey, and Autumn Bailey; extended family, Ricky and Kathy Ingram and Maggie Murphy. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matthew Thompson, Caleb Walker, Chris Jones, Michael Jennings, Tab Goggins, and Henry Roddam. Honorary pallbearers will be Reid Hodges, Leon Gardner, Bob Barnett, Bob Hamilton, Butch Jennings, Buzzy Ezekiel, Herman Hickman, Jerry Jennings, Gerald Griffith, Bill Holmes, Freddie Limbaugh, Houston Varner, Wade Houston, and Johnny Ray Jennings. Donations may be made to Odena Baptist Church. Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel will direct the service.
