Born on January 29, 1950, she was a beloved resident of Sylacauga, Alabama.
Known to many as Aunt Becky, or Mime.
Knowing her was loving her. She was a beautiful soul, who loved her family like no other. She spent most of her time with her grandchildren, or in her vegetable gardens. From morning lattes, to crime shows on the TV, you could always tell when she was around. She was stubborn and stood firmly in her beliefs, but she loved like no other.
Becky was a cherished wife to her husband, Tommy Harris. She was a devoted mother to her children, Wendy Martin (Jeremy), Henley Harris, and Jake Harris. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Madison Martin, London Harris, Kerrington Harris, Rowan Harris, and Remi Harris. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lindsey Nicole Harris, her parents, Howard and Alma Varner, her sister, Carol Liveoak, and her Nephews, Blake and Ben Liveoak.
In her professional life, Becky was dedicated to education, serving as a Teacher's Assistant. She was quick to correct your grammar, or how you enunciated a word. And would always laugh when you complained about it. Her commitment to her work and the lives she touched will be fondly remembered.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, located at 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, AL 35150. The service is scheduled for January 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
