Robert Clayton WilhiteSycamore, AL - Funeral service for Robert Clayton Wilhite, 44, will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Childersburg Church of God with Rev. David Bearden officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Wilhite died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his residence.  He was preceded in death by wife, Melaine Wilhite and father, Oscar Ward.  Mr. Wilhite was a minister of music at Childersburg Church of God and was a licensed minister with the Church of God.  He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother.He is survived by mother, Sylvia Ward of Sycamore, daughter, Emma Grace Wilhite of Sycamore, son, Benjamin Riley Wilhite of Sycamore, brothers, Kirk Allen Wilhite wife Vicky of Coosa Co., and Leonard Wilhite wife Cindy of Childersburg, sisters, Susie Popham husband Greg of Georgia, Tina Stanley husband Joseph of Childersburg and Marie Meherg of Sylacauga.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Childersburg Church of God.Pallbearers will be Eugene Reeves, Justin Feltis, Joe Stanley, Greg Popham, George Mizzell and Joey Owens.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
