Sarah was born in Tallapoosa County but she spent the majority of her married life in Coosa County. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, very kind hearted and most importantly was a woman of tremendous faith in her God! She was saved at a very early age and often spoke about how God watched over her during her young years as well as throughout her life. She was a prayer warrior and loved her church family. She read and studied her bible daily and prayed many times each day for family, friends, all the missionaries, healthcare workers, and many many others. She loved God with her whole heart and never missed an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with anyone. She loved telling about all her "God-winks." We were truly blessed by God to have her for our mother! She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Sarah is survived by her children, Johnny Turney (Julie), Frank Turney (Kathy), Cindy Kromer (Jeff), Cathy Shaw (Rodney), Jimmy Turney, grandchildren, Chris Turney (Jennifer), Rachel Poppel (Nick), Ethan Turney (Kelsey), Colton Turney (Natalie), Nicolas Turney ((Morgan), Danielle Acklin (Brandon), Cylena Kromer, Maleia Kromer, Jessica Riddle (Kyle), Nicolas Shaw (Jennifer) and 10 great grandchildren.
