Stephen Wayne Pruitt

Stephen is survived by his daughters Cindy Gibson (Stephen), Christine Barile, and Jennifer Pruitt; his son Christ Pruitt; his brother Jimmy Pruitt and his sister Sandra Pruitt; his grandchildren Jennifer Robinson (Chris), Tonya Kervin, Caden Barile, Patience Hornsby, Devon Gaffney, and Kaylynn Gaffney; his 5 Great Grandchildren and his best friend Fred McElrath.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father Marvin Pruitt and his mother Eunice Pruitt; his wife Brenda Joyce Pruitt, and his sister Diane Cardwell.

A memorial service for Stephen will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Estelle Community Church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mark Deason.

Stephen was a very talented musician for 50 years. He played with many bands all over Alabama. He was a practical jokester and loved to have fun. He always carried a smile and loved to put one on others faces. He loved life, family, and everyone around him.
