Susan K. Harmon, age 67, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Susan was born October 27, 1953 to Guida Gwathaney and William Fox Gwathaney. A visitation for Susan will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel. A graveside will occur Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Midway Memory Gardens. Susan is survived by her son Jeremy Harmon (Jessica); and her daughter Heather Staten (Phillip); her mother Guida Gwathaney; her brothers Steve Gwathaney (Barbra) and Jimmy Gwathaney; her grandchildren Evin Harmon, Elain Harmon, Elyse Harmon, Austin Harmon, and Lucas Harmon and her 3 Great Grandchildren. Susan was preceded in death by her father William Fox Gwathaney; and her grandparents Chester & Bonnie Bolton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
