Wanda Sue Abbott

Sylacauga, AL. - Wanda Sue Abbott, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Marty Abbott Sr.; son, Jerry Dewayne Bearden (Christie); daughter, Dana Bearden (Dale); son, Marty Abbott Jr. (Sara); brother, Barry Bearden; grandchildren, Benjamine Taylor, Mason Lytle, Austin Lytle, Haley Abbott, Michael Abbott, Marley Abbott; and step-grandchildren, Brendalynn Williams, Brody McCoy and Tricia Cunningham.

Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Lynn Abbott; father, Robert L. "Dicky" Bearden and mother, Janie Sims; brother, Robert Bearden; brother, Bobby Bearden; sister, Mary Bearden Ketchins; sister, Margarett Bearden Epperson and brother, Jerry Bearden.

A visitation for Wanda will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sycamore Cemetery, 323 Sycamore Cemetery Rd, Sycamore, AL 35149 followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. with Doris McClellan and Victor Flores officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Marty Abbott Sr., Jerry Bearden, Dana Bearden, Tricia Cunningham, Steven McDonald, Dale Lytle and Jimmy Wayne Bearden.
