Barbara W. Bailey

Sylvania – Barbara Watts Bailey, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at University Hospital in Augusta. She was born in Port Smith, VA, to the late Allen Hubert, Sr. & Thelma Conway Watts and was a retired office manager, having worked at an ophthalmologist’s office. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bell Bailey, Jr. and her parents.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Elisabeth Anne & Terry Takats of Augusta, GA; Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Harry B., III & Ruthie Bailey of Decatur, GA, Thomas Allen & Carla Bailey of Johns Creek, GA and Matthew Watts & Cheryl Bailey of Germantown, TN; Grandchildren: Sara Cathey, Thomas Bailey, Allison Bailey, John Takats, Katherine Takats, Jade Bailey, Jewel Bailey and Michael Takats; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, September 27, 2015, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Memorial Service: Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Dominey officiating.
