Henry Emerson Mock

Sylvania – H. Emerson Mock, age 93, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Syl-View Health Care in Sylvania. He was born in Screven County, was a retired farmer and was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Henry Walter and Mollie Lou Capps Mock; Daughter: Mollie Louise Mock; Brother: Walstein Mock; Sisters: Millie M. Barnwell and Eva Lee M. Strange; Granddaughter: Melissa B Shackleford; Grandson: Gerald Bonnette, Jr.; Great-Grandson: Eric Shackleford.

Survivors: Wife: Virginia Boddiford Mock of Sylvania; Daughters: Mary Frances Mock of Sylvania and Kay M. Bonnette of Metter; Half-Sister: Johnnie M. Oglesby of Sylvania; Granddaughter: Jessica Mock of Sylvania; Great-Grandsons: Justin Bonnette and Troy Bonnette; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Buck Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Purnell officiating. Burial at Buck Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. He will lie in state from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church.

Pallbearers: Glen Davis, Greg Dugger, Joe Boddiford, Richard Boykin, Billy Lovett, Palmer Bazemore, Lamar Zipperer, Gary Anderson and Edward Boddiford.
