Sharpsburg, GA (originally from Sylvania) – Lollie LaRose “Rose” Lovett Boyd, age 76, passed away at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA on November 6, 2016. She was born in Screven County, GA to the late Ray O. & Lollie Bell Forehand Lovett. She was a graduate of Screven County High School and Atlanta Christian College. She worked as the office manager for Financial Services.

Survivors: Husband: Gary Lee Boyd of Sharpsburg, GA; Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Lora B. & Jesus Rodriguez of Sandy Springs, GA and Lisa B. & Rick Sherman of Sharpsburg, GA; Brothers: Herschel “Bud” & Barbara Lovett of Allendale, SC, Wallis & Dot Lovett and Mickey & Bonnie Lovett, all of Sylvania; Sisters: Betty Lovett of Tifton, GA and Marsha L. McCabe of Houston, TX; Grandchildren: Blaze Sherman and Brea Sherman; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Newnan, GA.

Funeral Service: Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Newnan, GA.

Graveside Service: Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Lovett Family Cemetery on Waynesboro Highway in Sylvania, GA. Rev. George Pevey officiating.
