

Sylvania – Paul Thomas Crockett, Sr., age 80, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Optim Medical Center - Screven. He was born in Richmond County, was a retired trucker and farmer, and was a member of Little Horse Creek Baptist Church. He was also retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 20 years of service, including serving during Viet Nam. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by His Parents: Benjamin Elliott & Belle Outland Crockett: Brothers: William Floyd Crockett and Ben E. Crockett, Jr.
Survivors: Wife: Mary Louise Bragg Crockett of Sylvania; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Paul T. “Tommy” ,Jr. & Tisha Crockett of Sylvania; Sister: Margaret Crockett Thompson of Sylvania; Grandchild: Brandon Joshua & Larissa Crockett of Statesboro; Step-Grandchildren: Dalton Thorpe and Diamond Thorpe, both of Sylvania; Several other Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luck Boyd officiating. Burial following in the Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
