Mrs. Peggy Robinson Norman Jenkins, 80, of Augusta, GA formerly of Sardis, GA died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at her residence.

She was born in Jenkins County, GA to the late Emory Winston and Florrie Oliver Robinson. She was a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Her parents and her husbands, Richard S. Norman, Sr. and James Douglas Jenkins preceded her in death.

Survivors include, 3 Daughters and a Son-in-Law, Debra Norman, Atlanta, GA, Mitzi Norman and Pratt Adams, Richmond Hill, GA and Ricki Norman, Naples, FL, A Son, Richard S. Norman, Jr., Hardeeville, SC, 4 Grandchildren, Adam Lynn Stevison, V. Lacy Nuciforo, Ashley Adams and Laleah Adams, and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jenkins Will be Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sardis United Methodist Church, Sardis, GA with Rev. Dr. Karen R. Zeigler and the Rev. Steve Sirmans officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: Chip Dixon, Douglas Stubbs, Mike Chandler, Randy Chandler, Grady Dixon, Arthur Long, and Val Prescott.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Members of the Sardis United Methodist Church Women and Members of the Sylvania High School Class of 1948.

Mrs. Jenkins will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Visitation will be Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
