Ralph Waldo "Bob" Evans Jr.

Sylvania –Ralph Waldo “Bob” Evans, Jr., age 70, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro. He was born in Screven County, GA to the late Ralph Waldo, Sr. & Mamie Lou McKinney Evans. He was retired from Sylvania Yarn Systems and was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the N.R.A. and Buck Creek Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother: Rusty Evans; Grandson: Mason R. Evans; Brother-In-Law: Sam Roddenberry.

Survivors: Son: Ralph Waldo “Tre’” Evans, III of Sylvania; Sister: Jean E. Roddenberry of Springfield, GA; Grandchildren: Lauryn Elizabeth Evans and Jackson Levi Evans, both of Sylvania; Nephews: Brian Roddenberry and Mike Roddenberry, both of Springfield, GA, and Todd Roddenberry of Sylvania.

Visitation: Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Graveside Services: Sunday, December 6, 2015, at 2:30 P.M. at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Warren Devevo officiating. Burial following.
