Robert Edgar Kemp

Sylvania – Robert Kemp, age 80, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. He was born in Screven County, to the late George Newton & Nellie Jane Bazemore Kemp. He was a retired farmer and ironworker with the Local Iron Workers Union #709, and was a member of Antioch Christian Church. He was preceded in death by His Wife: Anna Bell Jenkins Kemp, and his parents.

Survivors: Brother and Sister-In-Law: John Edward & Carolyn Kemp of West Palm Beach, FL; Sister-In-Law: Janice Kemp of West Palm Beach, FL and Virginia J. Cooper of North Augusta, SC; Brother-In-Law: Melbourne Jenkins of Lawrenceville, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dent Wiggins officiating. Burial following at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.
