

Statesboro (formerly of Sylvania) –Ruby Brower Mock, age 85, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. She was born in Screven County to the late Uley & Mabel Brower. She worked as a beautician, owning and operating Rose of Sharon Beauty Shop in Savannah, GA before her retirement and was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Children: Janie Irene Mock and Edward Lawton Mock; Great-Grandchildren: Anna Grace Hall and Tanner James Hall; Brothers: Herbert Brower, LeRoy Brower, Rollie Brower and R.J. Brower; Sisters: Lillian Hendrix and Arie Mae Carter.
Survivors: Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Jeff & Kathy Mock of Tallahassee, FL and Dickie & Lisa Mock of Newington, GA; Sister: Minnie Lee Brower of Statesboro; Grandchildren: Brian Mock, Kevin Mock, Jason (Robin) Mock, Jennifer (Kyle) Mock-Hall, Cody Toole, Bobby (LeAnn) Dean and Christi (Radar) Webb; Great-Grandchildren: Mason Mock, Bailee Milne, Bryson Milne, Baxley Webb, Britton Webb, Katie Dean and McKinsie Dean; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Thursday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
