Willard Mike Michael Harley

Girard, GA – Willard Michael “Mike” Harley, age 64, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at GA Health Sciences University in Augusta, GA. He was born in Screven County, GA, to the late Willard & Jeannette Stafford Harley. He was retired after 30 years of working for Koyo (Torrington Co.) and was of Christian faith. He was also a member of Stirrup Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Steven Harley.

Survivors: His Wife: Daisy Perry Harley of Girard, GA; Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Mickey Harley of Ellijay, GA and Brantley & Anna Harley of Girard, GA; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Donnie Harley of Sylvania, Wayne & Susan Harley of Miami, FL, Wyman & Pam Harley of Statesboro, GA and Robin & Teresa Harley of Sylvania; Sisters: Angelia H. Eubanks of Millen, GA and Cathy H. Lee of Sylvania; Uncles: Spike Stafford and Billy Newton; Aunts: Mattie Bell Dutton and Maudine Finley; Grandchildren: Trenton Harley, Chase Harley and Gracie Harley; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with Pastor George Pevey officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dane Lee, Jessie Perry, Thomas Rountree, Mark Mays, Jerry Reddick, Beau Jaksch, David Vangiller and Chris Newton. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of the Stirrup Hunting Club.
