

Born on October 11, 1941, in Queens, New York, Don lived a rich and fulfilling life marked by professional success and deep family connections.
Don had a distinguished career spanning multiple industries, including notable executive positions with American Airlines, Butler Aviation, Beechcraft, and Raytheon. He also worked for the Teamster Union in New York City demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to his profession.
Don is survived by his beloved wife Marion, to whom he was married for 60 wonderful years. He is also survived by his oldest son Robert and four grandchildren: Jack, Cole, Mark, and Grace. His son Thomas preceded him in death on July 4, 2024.
Don was known for his fundamental goodness, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. He loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, and enjoyed watching movies on his big screen TV. He truly lived life to the fullest, touching the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. Don was deeply loved, and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service for Donald will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791. The funeral mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church in Syosset, NY at 9:45 am Monday morning, January 20, 2025.
