

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gail Boscia (Venice Florida and more
recently New York), who peacefully left us on January 13, 2025 at the age of 83. She was a
loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, and her
presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Gail was born on November 5,1941 in Bronx, New York to Paul and Irene Martin. She
graduated Evander Childs High School and was united in marriage to Anthony Boscia in
1961.Together they shared a lifetime of devotion and memories. After Anthony passed away in
2014, Gail continued finding joy in her family and caring for her beloved pet parrot, Honey Bird.
A proud matriarch, Gail leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. She was the cherished
sister of Paula, mother of Philip (Marci) and Carol (Marco), grandmother to Loryn (Dan), Jordyn
(Matt), Erica and Antonio, and great-grandmother to Greyson and Peyton. Her family was the
center of her world, and she will be remembered for the wisdom, kindness, and strength she
passed down through the generations.
Gail enjoyed building and decorating new homes (Gail and her late husband Tony moved
around quite a bit). Her home was always a welcoming place for family and friends. Whether it
was sharing stories, offering advice, or simply spending time together, she touched the lives of
everyone around her.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at Beney Funeral Home on January 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cher Cares Free the Wild
www.freethewild.org, Gail was a fan of Cher’s and she loved animals.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and she will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear Gail, you will be greatly missed.
A private prayer service for Gail will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, New York 11791, followed by a visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
