Anthony Catania, 74, resident of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Italy, he came to America in 1960 and lived in San Jose, California for 32 years. Anthony retired as an accountant and was a communicant of All Saints Church in Syracuse as well as Sacred Heart Church in California, where he was a Eucharistic Minister.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Maria Italia Catania; two daughters, Tina Catania and Lucia Catania; future sons-in-law, Arthur Urbano and Iñigo González; sister, Bonnie Catania; and brother, Rocco Catania.
Funeral services: Saturday 9 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at All Saints Church.
A rosary service will be held Friday 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in San Jose, California.
