Cheryl Y. McGinley

Cheryl Y. McGinley of Syracuse, NY, recently residing in Rome, NY, departed this life on Sunday at her home with her children by her side. She entered into the Kingdom, through the Gates of Heaven, into the arms of her first love, her Creator, Jesus Christ. There she will reside eternally, in the Mansion that has been prepared for her. She will reside there with her “Little Angels” Deborah L. Foster and Shawn M. Foster, greeted by her parents William and Zetta Hickey, her sisters Margorie Regas and Patricia A. Williams. Cheryl, was passionate in the position she held as a Counselor with, (SBH) Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare. Cheryl was a member of The New Testament Church in Rome, NY, as well as The River of Life in Syracuse, NY. A Proud Graduate of Syracuse University College, receiving her BS, in addition to, Honorary Awards and several Certificates of Perseverance and Excellence.

Cheryl awaits the arrival of her children and grandchildren, Mar F. Andrews and Rick A. Andrews, her son, Chuck J. Foster, Wendi L. Burke and Saul D. Burke, David M. Canestrare, Jr., Brook L. Smalt, Seth J. Burke, Jordan C. Foster, Noah D. Burke; her nieces and nephew and their children. She awaits all of those whom she loved, helped and held so deeply to her heart.

We will be celebrating the Life and Memories of Cheryl, Friday, February 15, 2013, at 7 p.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 700 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
