

Frank G. Giocondo, 92, of Syracuse passed away Wednesday at James Square Nursing Home and now is at peace with his wife, Laura who passed in 2009. A life resident of Syracuse he retired from Cashier Sheet Metal. He also worked at NY Central Railroad. Frank was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church and Transfiguration Church. Mr. Giocondo served his country proudly during World War II in the United States Navy.
Frank is survived by his sons, Gerald (Josephine) Giocondo of North Syracuse and Frank (MaryLee) Giocondo and Robert (Bonnie) both of Liverpool; sisters, Antoinette Sisti of Buffalo and Lucy Morgillo of North Syracuse; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, 8:45 a.m. from FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call, Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
