Isabelle A. Costa

Isabelle A. Costa, 96, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at her home. A life resident of Syracuse, she retired from Prestolite after 41 years. A communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, Isabelle was also a member of the St. Anthony Society at Pompei and St. Joseph’s Church, Golden Age at Assumption Church. Other memberships include, St. Jude of Assumption, Salina Civic, and Mattydale Hinsdale Senior Center.

Surviving are her sister, Santa Whitmore; niece, Joanne Heisler of Liverpool; nephews, John (Joanne) Laurenti of North Syracuse, William Dunnegan of New Jersey, and Louis (Pat) Costa, Jr. of Central Square; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
