Joseph F. Reale

Joseph F. Reale, 51, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Rome, NY, he resided in Syracuse for 20 years. Joseph was a former employee of Jones McIntosh after 20 years of service. A veteran of the United States Army, he served for three years. Mr. Reale enjoyed camping with his family, golf, fishing, going to his children’s sports games, videotaping the events and capturing their special moments. He was very proud of his kid’s accomplishments. Predeceased by his father, Ignazio Reale; father-in-law, Nick D’Agostino; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Maryanne Reale; sons, Jordan (Crystal) Cornacchia of Newport, Ryne (Fiancé, Maria Scalzo) Cornacchia of Utica, NY, Joseph Reale, and Matthew Reale; his mother, Margaret Reale of Utica, NY; mother-in-law, Nata D’Agostino of Liverpool, NY; sisters, Mary (Larry) Plantz of Wolcott, NY, Joyce Paciello and her partner, Chico Colon of Utica, NY, Joann Pettingill and partner, Lomonte Mann of Utica; brother, Michael (Phyllis) Reale of Syracuse, NY; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, and CNY Dialysis.
