Josephine C. Guinto

Josephine C. Guinto, 79, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at her home. Born in Syracuse, she was a life resident of the area. Josephine retired from General Motors as a General Foreman after 33 years of service. She was a former member of the Holy Trinity Seniors and the Wagon Wheel.

Josephine is survived by two brothers, Joseph F. (Diane) Guinto of Florida and Patrick A. (Judith) Guinto of Camillus; companion, Eileen Butera of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 9:15 A.M. at PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME and 10 A.M. at Assumption Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
