Louis G. Rosa

Louis G. Rosa, 82, formerly of Syracuse, now of Sarasota, FL passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was owner and operator of S & W Meats and Poultry and retired in 1989. Mr. Rosa was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the Korean War US Army. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Palm Aire Golf & Country Club. He was predeceased by his children, Louis J. Rosa, 1977 and Robyn A. Renihan, 1994; sister, Mary Scott, 1998 and brother, Peter J. Rosa, 1995. Louis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy A. Rosa; sister, Anne Marie Stimson of Florida and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 11 a.m. in Assumption Church, 812 North Salina Street. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
