Lucille Sisto Ferretti, 96, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at home surrounded by those who loved and cared for her. Lucy was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home to all who entered. She was a generous and warm-hearted person who greeted everyday with a smile and a positive attitude. Lucy never forgot the importance of faith, family and friends, always putting others before her. Lucille’s everlasting ability to see the good, speak gently and to be kind was an inspiration to all that knew her. Lucy taught us that it is not the big things in life that count but the small moments that would become our fondest memories. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Leo; son-in-law, Dean; sister, Doris and five brothers, John, Emmanuel, Anthony, Frank and Joseph.
Lucy is survived by her son, James (Michaele) Ferretti of East Syracuse; daughter, Julie Baker of Liverpool; granddaughter, Jessica Baker of Los Angeles; sister-in-law, Nancy Sisto of North Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
