Mariagrazia Vigliotti

Mariagrazia Fruggiero Vigliotti, 75, of Syracuse passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Santa Maria A Vico Caserta,Italy and has been a resident of Syracuse for 38 years. Maria worked at the Cathedral Candle Company for 17 years, was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a member of the Our Lady of Pompei Prayer Group.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clemente; daughters, Antonietta (Antonio) Rosano of Syracuse, Maria (Rocco) Rufo of Cicero and Fortunata (Mark) Sweeting of Syracuse; sons, John (Dale) Vigliotti of Liverpool and Nicola (Jeanette) Vigliotti of Syracuse; sisters, Filomena DeLucia and Antonietta (Antonio) Crisci both of Italy; brother, Filippo Fruggiero of Italy; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews in Syracuse, Italy and Australia; several sisters and brothers-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:30 am at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 9 am in St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park St.
