Michael J. Tenenini

Michael J. Tenenini, 89, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Croton on Hudson, he resided in the Syracuse area most of his life and the last 2 ½ years at Elderwood Healthcare at Birchwood. He retired from Crucible Steel after 43 years of service. A veteran of the United States Army, Michael served his country during WWII. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Rita (Liepka) Tenenini; sister, Mary Minetto; and brother, Peter Tenenini.

Survivors include one daughter, Doreen (William) Trogus of Bernville, PA; sons, Michael J. Tenenini (Wil) of Tully and Robert (Cathy) Tenenini of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Nancy Rosa of FL; sister-in-law, Tina Liepka of Liverpool; beloved grandchildren, Laurie (Matt) Dobyns, Michael (Jayme) Trogus, Melissa Tenenini, Robby Tenenini, and Ally Tenenini; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at Assumption Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
